CMC Center Stage

World-class performances on the small stage!

The Children's Museum of Cleveland is bringing world-class performances to the small stage with our CMC Center Stage performance series! 


A live performance can stimulate imagination, promote emotional development, and teach children about different cultures. Join us for a series of interactive and engaging performances, designed for our youngest learners. 


Professional arts groups will take the stage at CMC for age-appropriate performances of music, theater, and dance. All events are FREE with CMC Membership and general admission.

Sofi's Magical Adventure


Sofi’s Magical Adventure is a 25-minute bilingual musical puppet performance based on Raquel M. Ortiz’s bilingual children’s picture book. Join Sofi in exploring public art, imagination, and the Puerto Rican cultural tradition of Carnival.

Abrepaso Flamenco


Learn to dance flamenco from master artist Alice Blumenfeld of Abrepaso Flamenco! We’ll learn the hand movements, footwork, and rhythms of flamenco. Students will experience firsthand the rhythm and culture of Southern Spain!

Ages 4-8.

Masks covering the nose and mouth are required for all guests over the age of 3 at all times. Children must be accompanied by an adult for all classes and workshops.
