CMC Discovery Camp
Play the day away at our 2024 Discovery Camps!
The Children's Museum of Cleveland (CMC) offers summer camps for kids ages 4-6 years old, featuring engaging weekly themes. Campers will enjoy a week (Monday-Friday) of exciting theme activities and engaging Museum play to support their learning all summer long. Our half-day camps run from 8:30am-12pm each day.

Animal Adventures Camp : June 10th-14th
Wizard Science Camp : June 24th-28th
Messy Masterpieces Camp : July 8th-12th
Blast Off Camp : July 22nd-26th
Explorer Camp : August 5th-9th
Ohio ACE Accepted!
Have remaining funds from the Ohio Afterschool Childe Enrichment Educational Savings Program (ACE)?
CMC Discovery Camp is eligible for reimbursement through this program. Visit their website for more information.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made in writing at least two weeks in advance of the camp start date to receive a refund. A $50 cancellation fee per person will be deducted from the refund. Cancellations made less than two weeks in advance are not eligible for a refund.
Animal Adventures

Join us for a world of adventure as we discover animals across the globe! Campers will learn about different types of animals and their environments. We will study fossils, create puppets and masks, and more in this hands-on experience.
Camps are open to children who will be between the ages of 4-6 at the time of camp.
Wizard Science

Learn about everyday magic as we delve into a world of science and wonder. Create potions, grow plants, make your own wand, and more as we combine the mystical with the scientific.
Camps are open to children who will be between the ages of 4-6 at the time of camp.
Messy Masterpieces

Let your imagination run wild as we create our own masterpieces! Campers will learn about different art mediums and also how to work with basic tools and circuits. Campers will create their own art and woodworking projects to showcase their skills throughout the week.

Blast Off

Celebrate the Lunar Landing and explore space! Campers will learn about the inner workings of the universe, and how humans study the universe. Then, they'll use what they've learned to create their own mini galactic models!

Explorer

When: August 5th-9th
8:30am-12pm daily
Camp Fee: $300 per camper

Set sail on the high sea as we travel the globe discovering the continents of the world. Explore the plants and animals of our five major biomes, and learn about different cultures from around the world through stories, crafts, and songs.
Camps are open to children who will be between the ages of 4-6 at the time of camp.
