Museum Experience Facilitator (full-time)

The Museum Experience Facilitator represents the face of the museum by interacting with guests at all points. This position is responsible for ensuring that visitors have a positive, safe, clean, and fun experience at the Museum. This is a public-facing role, and requires the employee to interact in person with the general public on a daily basis.


Full-time position (35-40 hours per week.) Starting pay rate is $15.00/hour. The weekly work schedule for this position is Monday-Wednesday, Fridays, and either Saturdays or Sundays. Summer Outreach Contractor (part-time, seasonal)

Great seasonal opportunity for educators! CMC is partnering with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) to provide summer learning experiences for early childhood students. Program hours are 1:00 - 4:30 PM Monday through Friday from June 27th through July 29th, 2022. The work hours are 12:00 - 4:30pm, with a minimum commitment of at least three weekdays. There will be a paid training the week prior to the start of summer programming (June 20 - 24, 2022), date dependent on schedule chosen.


Education Outreach Contractors will be responsible for the supervision of students throughout the day. Contractors will serve as classroom management support during programs. Contractors will be trained in CMC’s learning through play model, and will instruct classes as assigned. Contractors will be the trusted adults in all of our spaces, and ensure the health and physical safety of all participating students using trauma-informed and restorative practices. Contractors will be assigned to sites based on need.
