The Meadow
Step into a tranquil space, designed specifically for children ages birth-3. Infants, crawlers, and early walkers enjoy a bright, clean, and sensory-rich environment to explore as they make sense of this fascinating world.
What Kids Play
- Little hands and feet can climb, crawl, and walk through our small-scale climbing structure including ramps, stairs, and a slide.
- Kids can engage in sensory play with our sensory and magnet walls.
- Imaginations soar in our pretend play areas including a nursery, kitchen, noodle tunnel, and cave.
- Learn to grasp, carry, toss and more with our ball tubes, stacking wall, and collection of sensory toys.
- Did someone say tummy time? Our padded area allows even the tiniest learners to crawl, prop, climb, and roll. They can also check out their reflection in the child-safe mirror wall, and watch as children play around them.
What Kids Learn
The Meadow promotes physical development and gross motor skills. Kids safely can climb, walk and crawl throughout the space and practice physical obstacles including stairs, ramps, and different surfaces.
This exhibit offers boundless opportunities for sensory play! Our play areas are expertly designed to engage the senses and give children opportunities to develop fine motor skills through grabbing, carrying, and placing different objects.
This open and communal space encourages children to play collaboratively as they learn to share, take turns, and engage with other children.
