Not your average happy hour! At our weekly Sprout Social, new friends will get together to learn and explore. CMC Educators will lead a 30-minute class for our littlest learners, with a weekly theme that will connect a special story with a core early learning skill. Then, the fun continues with an hour of open play in our Meadow exhibit. The exhibit doors will open just for our Sprout Social classmates, providing an exclusive opportunity to mix and mingle without the crowds! This is also a great time for the grown-ups to socialize and make new friends.
Kids Will Learn: Sprout Social lessons support foundational learning by exploring core early learning skills such as counting, learning our letters, exploring emotions and more! We will promote early literacy through our story time session, and engage our social-emotional development as we play collaboratively in our Meadow exhibit.
Age Range: Recommended for children ages 9 months (sit without support milestone) to age 3
Cost: $20 per child/adult pair

Tasty Tales is an adventure for your mind AND your tummy! Each class, we will begin our journey by reading a story together. Then, the story will jump off the page as we learn new skills to create a special snack inspired by the book we read.
Kids will learn: Tasty Tales promotes literacy through an engaging story time. We’ll work on our fine motor skill development as we use our hands to work with kitchen tools and learn basic cooking techniques. Self-esteem will be boosted as we use our independence to learn something new and make ourselves a snack! Let’s not forget the social-emotional development we will work on as we enjoy our snack with our new friends.
Age Range: Recommended for children ages 3-5.
Cost: $15 per child/adult pair
