Museum Eating Area and Gift Shop
Open during normal hours of operation. The eating area features vending machines for snacks and beverages only. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own food and beverages into the museum to enjoy. The MidTown Cleveland neighborhood has an array of restaurants nearby. Visitors may also have food delivered to the Museum while on the premises. No food or beverages, with the exception of water, are permitted in the museum exhibit areas. (The Museum does not contract with a food service company so that our visitors are allowed to bring their own food and beverages into the building, an important aspect for families with dietary restrictions and food allergies.)
Infants 11 months and younger: Free
The Children’s Museum of Cleveland is fully ADA accessible.
Members with valid ID receive free parking in the museum lot during normal hours of operation, space permitting. The parking lot is accessible through the museum’s main entrance at 3813 Euclid Avenue, between E. 36th and E. 40th streets. Should the parking lot fill up, spaces are not guaranteed.
Non-members may park for a $5 daily fee.
Parking restricted for Children’s Museum of Cleveland visitors. Violators are subject to ticketing and towing.
Bike racks are available on the museum grounds. Visitors should secure bikes and trailers with bike locks.
RTA (Regional Transit Authority) stop
Visitors are encouraged to ride the RTA HealthLine on Euclid Avenue and exit at the E. 40th Street stop. Please cross safely at the crosswalks.
Diaper changing tables are available in the restrooms on each floor. Seating throughout the museum allows for mothers to nurse comfortably in any area, including a private nursing area in the Level One women’s restroom. If a more private and quiet space is preferred, we recommended these areas: Reading Nook, Lower Level Restroom Lobby, Eating Area, and Making Miniatures. Please find a Museum staff member for other nursing accommodations.
A coatroom is located on the 1st floor. A limited number of free lockers are available on a first-come first-served basis. Please be advised that valuables should not be left in this area and the Museum is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
